1. Spotify 


In 2022, Barcelona signed a landmark sponsorship deal with music streaming giant Spotify. This partnership saw Spotify become the club’s main shirt sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams, as well as securing the naming rights for the famous Camp Nou stadium, which is now known as Spotify Camp Nou




Even if you are not a fan of Barcelona, You might indirectly have helped support Barcelona if you have ever bought a subscription to Spotify. 


Spotify also came in as a saviour as recently Barcelona were suffering from a heavy financial crisis as even not being able to register signings. The investment fund from Spotify helped in managing that financial crisis.


This deal, worth over €280 million, marked the first time Barcelona sold naming rights to its stadium, a significant move in modern football's commercial strategies.


2. Nike – Kit Supplier


Barcelona's relationship with Nike dates back to 1998, making it one of the longest-standing kit sponsorships in football. 


Even though Barcelona were thinking of ditching Nike recently after they learned about the revenue that could be generated by selling merchandise. But because Nike is a franchise with storehouses around the world it could have been very very hard for even a team like Barcelona to manage that type of franchise around the world, so hence they kept their deal with Nike


Nike designs and manufactures the team's kits, including the famous Blaugrana stripes. In 2016, the club renewed its contract with Nike in a deal reportedly worth up to €150 million per season, making it one of the most lucrative kit supply deals in world football.


3. Beko – Sleeve Sponsor


Beko, a Turkish home appliance company, has been a key partner of Barcelona since 2014. Initially appearing on the sleeves of the first team's shirts, the company expanded its sponsorship in 2018, also supporting Barça's training kits. 


Beko's deal with Barcelona is valued at €57 million over three years, making it an integral part of the club’s commercial portfolio.


4. Stanley – Women’s Team Sponsor


For the women’s team, Stanley, a global tools and hardware brand, became the first-ever shirt sponsor for Barcelona Femení in 2018. 


This move highlights Barça’s commitment to promoting women’s football and expanding sponsorship opportunities across its entire sports ecosystem.


5. Rakuten – Former Shirt Sponsor


Before Spotify, Rakuten, a Japanese e-commerce giant, was Barcelona’s main shirt sponsor from 2017 to 2022. 


The deal with Rakuten was a massive €55 million per year, demonstrating the club’s ability to secure high-profile global partners. 



Rakuten also helped Barca in a player transfer, Like that of Andres Iniesta

This partnership helped increase Barcelona’s visibility in the Asian market, further cementing its status as a global brand.


6. Other Partners

Barcelona’s sponsorship portfolio includes a range of other significant partners like Konami, Audi, Gillette, and CUPRA. These brands benefit from Barcelona's global reach and the club’s prestigious reputation, also helping with global outreach.
