This season has to be a season that is primarily focused on teams that want to develop more in the title race, we are seeing everything in this transfer window from bulk transfers to former players returning to the club, new managers, new players being registered daily, We have seen all this happening
But here comes the question altogether.
Who is going to win the Premier League in 2025? All teams seem to be fit enough to challenge, but we have jotted down a list of the top 4 teams that can make the cut this season and one will eventually win the Premier League.
As we have done earlier we were so close to getting the perfect prediction but it boiled down to one team, we predicted the top 3 right last season and we opted to get the top 4 right in 2025.
1. Manchester City
Manchester City has been all-time favourites for quite a long time now, but this season might be special because they are going to achieve a historical feat if they can win the title this season,
This will be City’s fifth consecutive premier league if they manage to win this season. This can be a crucial motivational factor in the dressing room
They have the right players to achieve this feat and they have the right formation and the right man to lead this team, they have everything they want to win.
Also, players like Gundoan have returned to the Etihad after a disappointing spell at Barcelona. Gundoan was a crucial player for Manchester City when they dominated Europe and the Premier League with a treble back in 2023.
Hence there is no reason that Manchester City cannot win the Premier League in 2025, given they have everyone in mint condition.
2. Arsenal
Given the chances they have produced, we do not doubt that Mikel Arteta’s team would not close the gap against title all-time favourites City.
For the last two years Arsenal have come so close to winning the title but they couldn’t.
As a team Arsenal are pretty good as they have players who are young and talented from Bukayo Saka to Martenilli to Odegaard everyone has a role in the team, but this is the also the exact reason that might be hampering Arsenal’s title challenge as they do not have experience compared to Manchester City, Arsenal also has a manager who can be said is somehow very junior to Pep
So this lack of experience is what might be hampering the title challenges at Arsenal.
3. Liverpool
Liverpool have recently changed their manager, We no longer have Jurgen Klopp with Liverpool, Not to forget Jurgen Klopp was the man that took Liverpool out of that miserable 30-year premier league drought.
So we think Liverpool will take time to challenge the title immediately.
Now, we need to keep in mind Jurgen Klopp is leaving for Arne Slot. It is not a team that is dismantled or disoriented, It surely is a team that is capable enough to at least compete for the Top 4.
You can cut off a team that has Mohammed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, and Luis Diaz who has been excellent for Colombia in Copa America.
Arne Slot who replaced Klopp as manager is also not a manager that can be taken for granted, he has a proven track record for managing in a league, he has won titles with Feyenoord in the Netherlands and now he has a chance to prove himself in the Premier League.
So with all these considerations, Liverpool has a team that can beat the challenge for Top 4 but the hunger to win that Premier League title might be missing.
4. Manchester United
Man United seems to have found out the problem and has been prioritising building from scratch, they also have got rid of players that seem to have conflicts with the squad. Players like Jadon Sancho have been transferred to Chelsea in look to refresh the squad.
Eric Ten Hag seems to have the backing he needs from his superiors mostly from the new owners in Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
They are also keen on redeveloping the facilities that are offered in Carrington, new sporting directors and everything. Man United has been looking sharp.
The only thing that keeps this United team from crumbling is the number of injuries.
Previously Ten Hag had to deal with several injuries that had negatively hampered and cost Man United a season, Players like Bruno Fernandes missed his first game for United due to an injury.
Players like Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro too suffered injury problems, but now they are available for the Dutchman.
Also, the addition of players like De Legit and Lenny Yorro has given a huge advantage boost for Man United this season.
So, In conclusion, we have made this list of teams that we think are going to take the top spot in the Premier League this season. This team has been ranked based on performance and winning potential of the Premier League.
