Today the Premier League will restart with an exciting North London derby after a thrilling International Break. Arsenal would be facing Tottenham at home. When club football is restarting with such a thrilling encounter then the football world ought to be excited. The last time both the teams met at White Hart Lane, Arteta's Arsenal was crushed by Conte's side by 3 goals. But this year it's different as Arsenal is sitting at the top of the table after playing some high brand of football. Conte surely would be coming to the Emirates after some deep tactical thinking.
Since Arteta has become the manager of Arsenal he started some serious rebuilding of the team which was struggling for a long period. It seems that the re-building has been completed and quite successful after addition of some great young talents. This Arsenal side is quite young on average and quite good in possession football. Arsenal has been great on possession, keeping the ball, passing, quick transition, shifting the play on either wing and quite clinical in front of the goals with players like Gabriel Jesus, Saka, Martinelli along with Odegard as the playmaker. After a move from Man City Gabriel Jesus has been feeling quite confident and free in front of the goal which he himself mentioned. With the two pacy, skillful wingers Saka on the right and Martinelli on the left and Odegard as the playmaker eking out key passes Arsenal would be really dangerous in front of the goal on which Tottenham has to keep an eye if they don't want to concede.
It would be logical for any manager to choose to play on the break against this Arsenal side if they wish to score and win like Man Utd did and broke Arsenal's win streak. Tottenham has got players like Son Huen Min, Harry Kane and Richalson who are more than capable enough to hurt Arsenal on the break and against the run of play. While Arsenal's midfield and forward line looks quite decorated, their defence line is not that compact yet where Tottenham's well-known forwards can easily find spaces for those late runs behind the defence line, find those through balls and punish the Gunners. Last time Conte got the better of Arteta with a 3-0 win but this time it would be much much harder. Arteta with his side displaying some good brand of football would be more than conscious enough about the mistakes where Tottenham can capitalize, more so after the defeat against United.
Don't miss the exciting clash and let's wait for what the game would reveal for us.
