Author's take
I think Arsenal still has a bit of development to do, Yes with the win and all the player's staff, managers are hyped up cause they beat Liverpool, but to be honest, this is the Liverpool side which has been struggling since the start of the season, what we saw against Manchester united can be described as a horror show for the Gunners.
Yes, Arsenal can definitely crack the close for the top 4 finish this season but challenging Manchester City can be a whole different level, It doesn't mean that Arsenal cannot challenge Manchester City at all, but I think it might take up to a year to come in strong for Challenging teams like City in the Premier League
In my understanding, Arsenal has very young players. their average age of starting 11 is just 24.6 years, their players like saka, Martinelli, and Martin Odegaard are still very young, they would surely turn into beasts after a couple of years then we can see the real Arsenal fighting for the titles. Arsenal is also doing a pretty good job, but this might not be enough to beat a team like Manchester City.
With Erling Haaland on their side, Manchester City this season could also just cruise past everyone for the title.
