Are Portugal and Spain ready for the World cup?

No doubt, Portugal has a solid team this year. With half of its squad playing the title-winning side in top European leagues. The battle for Portugal can be difficult there still seems to get sound in the team chemistry.


Portugal showed excellent class in their match with the Czech Republic in Nation League on September 24 scoring a total of four goals.


Even though having a difficult start of the season under Erik Ten Hag in Manchester United Ronaldo has failed to provide any goal or assist for the Man United team, It was no surprise that the talking point of the whole match had been the performance of Cristiano Ronaldo, Even though Ronaldo failed to score he was crucial in the match providing an assist for Jota and creating spaces for the attack.


Portugal has a brilliant team for the World Cup, they qualified for the World cup through playoffs failing to qualify in the traditional method by World cup qualifiers.



Rafael Leao, Bernado Silva, Ruben Diaz, Bruno Fernandes Diego Jota, Fonte, A team sheet of this calibre should be at least enough to make it o the Semi-Finals of the World Cup. It was a perfect start for Santo's men to gather for the upcoming matches, while Portugal sits at the top of their group stage.


Can Spain be ready up until the world cup 2022?


Luiz Enrique's men are struggling at the point, Their game against Switzerland, Even though having more than 70% of the ball possession Spain had the same amount of Shots as Switzerland who had a mere 25% of Possession.

Many are quick to point out that the reason for Enrique to drop Sergio Ramos might due to his Real Madrid background.
